Graco Pushchairs

by PramLady

Graco pushchairs stem from a history of making baby products and before that machine and car parts for local manufacturers in the USA. 1955 saw the launch of the first baby product, the Graco Swyngomatic – a wind-up infant swing – and millions of swings and other products later the first Graco playpen and travel cot in one was launched in 1987. This lead up to the introduction of the Graco Travel System, the first product enabling parents to quickly click a car seat into and out of a pushchair so that babies could be moved without disturbing them from sleep. In 1997 Graco Europe was launched and has since built up a good reputation for safety, innovation and value for money baby products. They have a Research and Development team that constantly works on products aimed at modern parents with busy lifestyles. They try to combine quality and value for money and they have become the number one “wheeled goods” manufacturer and number two car seat manufacturer in the UK.

The Graco range of products includes pushchairs, travel systems, car seats, travel cots, swings and entertainers. You can buy their products separately or in bundles and there are lots of matching accessories you can get too. The Graco pushchair range includes five models – the Mirage+, Mojo, Mosaic, Cleo and U’go. They also make two seater pushchairs (both tandems and twins) – including the Quattro Tour Duo, Stadium Duo, and the Duosport. There are six Graco travel systems – the Vivo TS, Quattro Tour Sport TSB, Quattro Tour Deluxe TSB, Oasis TS, Mosaic One TS, and the Mirage+ TS. All their products are well-made and good value, with safety and practicality in mind.

The Graco Mirage pushchair offers great value for money as it combines neat styling with easy handling, perfect for getting around town. It has a one hand fold mechanism, front swivel, auto lock wheels, a reclining seat with 3 positions, a large footrest, a large canopy with a window and a large shopping basket for your convenience to make those shopping trips easier. It is suitable from birth to 3 years. The Mirage travel system is probably the best value for money Graco travel system and it is light, mobile and manoeuvrable. It is comfy and cosy for baby and as well as the features of the Mirage pushchair it includes an infant carrier car seat that is easy to click in. It is suitable from birth as you can use the car seat on the pushchair or recline the seat to flat. It doesn’t have as many frills as some other brands but it also comes without the hassle and is perfectly suitable for normal use in an urban environment.

The Graco Stadium Duo is fantastic, practical double pushchair that is only as wide as a regular pushchair, making it easy to manoeuvre in and out of doorways. The back seat is higher than the front so both children can see out and there are play trays in the front and back (with practical cup holders). The front seat is for children from 6 months and the back seat is suitable for newborn babies and can carry a Graco 0+ car seat, making the Stadium Duo a travel system and pushchair at the same time. The back seat has 4 reclining positions including a lie flat position and the front seat has 2 reclining positions. It has a one hand fold mechanism, front swivel, lockable wheels and a large basket for convenience. It is another example of a really user-friendly, good value for money Graco pushchair.

The Graco Mojo is a super, lightweight pushchair that has everything, a compact umbrella fold, handy carry handle, big shopping basket, adjustable calf support and even comes with an apron and rain cover included. Combined with a one-hand fold mechanism its features make it very easy to use and lightweight to transport so it’s perfect for travelling on public transport and city living. It is totally manoueverable with front swivel auto-lock wheels and it’s suitable for babies from birth.

Some of the other Graco travel systems include the Quattro Tour, which comes in a Deluxe and a Sport version. The Quattro Tour Deluxe TSB is a premium travel system with a pushchair and car seat combination guaranteeing comfort for your baby and ease of use for you with a one-click car seat fix and a one hand folding mechanism. It has a high-tech oval frame and it’s freestanding once folded. It looks good without being showy and is totally usable. It’s very manoeuvrable with the front swivel, lockable wheels and easy to carry and transport as it has a carry handle, more useful than you might realise if you haven’t tried carrying a pushchair before! The Quattro Tour Sport TSB version is the newest addition to the Quattro Tour family and it’s the most luxurious yet. It comes with an adjustable handle, extra soft carrycot, top of the range Logico S car seat and in-car base so fitting’s a doddle.

All Graco pushchairs and Graco travel systems are reasonably priced, no nonsense and practical. If you are looking for value for money functionality with style Graco is probably the brand for you.
