Jane pushchairs are designed with particular lifestyles in mind, each range within the brand contains four different designs with different aims. Jane makes 3-wheeler, 4-wheelers, two seaters, tandems and travel systems. Their Urban range consists of four different styles: Unique, Sonic, Solo, Carrerra Aniversario. And the 4×4 range: Nomad, Slalom Pro, Twin Two, Power-Twin Pro.
The Jane Unique pushchair is part of the urban range and designed to make life easier with frequent travel. It is perfect for getting it in and out cars, taxis, buses, trains and planes and great for taking on holiday as it is so light and compact with a carry strap for easy portability. Jane claims that it “is the most compact pushchair on the market, almost a ‘pocket’ pushchairs for babies”! Hmmm I’m not sure about it fitting in your pocket but it is one of the smallest pushchairs in its class and very compact when folded.
The Unique is also easy to fold and has smooth manoeuvrability with auto-steering and lockable, swivel wheels, and rear suspension for a comfy ride. It has 4 groups of 2 fairly small wheels, which automatically retract when folding, helping to make it extra compact when folded. It is only suitable for babies from 6 months, not from birth, as it only has one seat position, this can be a drawback but if using it as travel option some of its other features outweigh this. It is incredibly light yet durable as it is made from a modern aluminium oversized oval tubular chassis. It comes complete with shopping basket, hood and a rain cover.
Another of the Urban Jane pushchairs is the Sonic, the “active” model to cater for the fast pace of modern life as it’s easy to transport, being very light. It is also very compact and is easy to carry as it has a handle for carrying. It is another 4-wheeler, well 4 groups of 2 wheels, with auto-steering and lockable swivel wheels. The Backrest is reclinable in 3 positions and it comes with a rain shield, carrying basket and a hood. Bare in mind it is not adaptable for baby carriers.
The next Jane pushchair is the Solo, specifically designed to have greater flexibility for getting around. This Jane carrera pushchair is ideal for city life, as its 100% aluminium frame offers maximum robustness with minimum weight. It has a fully adjustable reclining lie-back seat with 5 reclining positions and a footrest. The backrest is also fully removable and the Solo can be adapted into a complete travel system with an infant carrier. It is very compact and free standing when folded. It has suspension on all wheels, adjustable on the rear wheels and it is really smooth to push. The Solo comes in a Complete Car, Matrix Cup and Rebel Pro Version.
The Jane Carrera Aniversario was the model designed to celebrate the 75th anniversary of Jane and it is sleek, minimalist and elegant. It is a very compact telescopic folding pushchair suitable for car boots, even sports car if you’re lucky enough to have one with children! It is suitable for babies from birth with a fully adjustable reclining lie-back seat & footrest. It has an easy fold mechanism with a removable seat unit and Pro fix ‘connection free’ fastening system to make it easy to convert from a pram to pushchair to travel system and back, with just one hand.
The Jane Nomad is made from aluminium light alloy to become Jane’s lightest pushchair with the Pro-fix fastening system. It is strong, durable and very safe, adaptable to become a complete travel system. It is an urban and off road model all in one but it looks very chunky and more off road than city sleek. It has an easy removal system for all the wheel groups and The Nomad comes in a complete car, a Matrix Cup and a Strata Version.
Another 4×4 Jane pushchair is the Slalom Pro, a chunky four-wheel drive concept that can tackle difficult and rough terrain with ease. It has the standard Jane easy, one hand fold mechanism with a removable seat unit and Pro fix ‘connection free’ fastening system to make it easy to convert between pram, pushchair and travel system.
The Jane Twin Two, full equip twin, is the new two seater that is ideal for twins or for two children of different ages, from birth to 3 years old. It offers a great deal of versatility thanks to its Pro-fix system, which allows the Strata and Matrix Cup baby carriers to be fastened.
The Jane Powertwin Pro is a fantastic two-seater designed for enjoying and learning from nature. With its revolving wheel and brakes, this all-terrain vehicle is very safe out in the open country.
