Urban Detour pushchairs are sold exclusively through Mothercare, in their shops and online. They are a good value for money brand that make funky but practical pushchairs. Generally Urban Detour pushchairs are well designed and well made, and quite a lot cheaper than some of the other well-known brands.
You get just as much style and functionality as most of them but without a designer price tag. There are a couple of other brands close in price but Urban Detour are without doubt the cheapest so if you are on a budget and these 3-wheeler pushchairs have all the features you need you can’t go too far wrong. Make sure you read all the technical specifications before making a decision but they are definitely worth a look.

The Urban Detour Vesta 3-wheeler - Sunshine is Urban Detour’s lightest 3-wheeler at just 10.2kg. Compare this to some other 3-wheelers and you’ll see that it’s at the lighter end of the scale, which is always a bonus if you travel a lot or just generally to make life easier getting around, in and out of shops, and tackling stairs. It is also very maneuverable as it has a double front swivel wheel and it’s smooth over grass and bumpy surfaces.
It is a funky 3-wheeler with a black hood on a lightweight silver frame and a striking yellow and grey reversible, washable seat pad. It is suitable for babies from birth and the seat has 2 adjustable positions. It has an easy fold mechanism and is fairly compact when folded but check out the dimensions and whether that will fit into your car and the storage space in your home before you buy. This is really important to think about as if you have a small car some pushchairs don’t fit easily, this one does fit into a Ford KA though which is a fairly good indication that it’s compact. It really is easy to fold with the one-handed folding mechanism and it’s easy to steer as well. It is suitable from birth so it’s cost effective, as you won’t have to replace it as your little one grows.
